About PickPhive
PickPhive is a fan-powered platform where Phish fans predict setlists before each show — five songs at a time. Submit your picks, earn points, and climb the leaderboard. Whether you're playing solo or joining a group event, it's all about connecting through the music.
🎯 Core Features
- Submit 5 picks before any Phish show
- Points awarded for correct picks, in any set
- Group events, leaderboards, and personal stats
🎯 How Picks Are Scored
Your goal is to predict which songs Phish will play at an upcoming show. Each pick can earn points based on the song's context during the performance:
- +1 point - If the song is played anywhere in the show and each time it is played
- +3 bonus - If it opens or closes a set (excluding encores)
- +2 bonus - If it appears in the encore
- +2 bonus - If it's a cover song (excluding certain covers e.g TAB song)
- +5 bonus - If it's a bust-out (not played for 100+ shows)
- +10 bonus - If it's a debut (first time ever played)
Example: You pick "The Curtain With" and it returns after a 120-show absence, opening second set — you'd earn:
- 1 (base) + 5 (bust-out) + 3 (opener/closer) = 9 points
Example: You pick "Tweezer" and it the first set opener and its played 2 more times through out the show — you'd earn:
- 3 (base) + 3 (opener/closer) = 6 points
Example: You pick "Loving Cup" and its played as an encore — you'd earn:
- 1 (base) + 2 (encore) + 2 (cover) = 5 points
Score totals reflect both smart picks and lucky timing. Let the games begin!
